ELEPHANT SHOES
A two-channel installation, Elephant Shoes explores “the third”, the space that is created between two people - The Lovers’ Space.
When you mouth “Elephant Shoes,” it can easily be mistaken for “I love you.”
This piece is an expression of what usually cannot be seen, can sometimes be felt, and generally only assumed about two people’s intimate exchange. The performers were cast from real-life couples and asked to play themselves, under my creative direction.
